PSA RATINGS: Certified Freestyle, Registered MIF

For over 15 years, I have coached dedicated, competitive skaters of all levels and abilities toward their goals. I have worked with skaters from Learn to Skate through senior freestyle tests, triple jumps, sectional qualification, and full-time professional employment. Most importantly (and as a parent of two young skaters of my own), I believe strongly in supporting the holistic development of our skaters as human beings—understanding each skater’s unique needs, challenges, and potential. Alongside our team of LSC coaches, I ensure that they have every opportunity to succeed and grow through the sport. Additionally, I have been an active PSA member since 2007, served as Professional Representative on the LSC Board of Directors, and coached the Capital Area High School Skating Team to multiple district titles and State Championship qualifications. As a skater, I am a U.S. Figure Skating double gold medalist in moves in the field and freestyle. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Michigan State University.

Over my ten years of coaching, I have worked with students from their very first steps in the Learn to Skate program all the way up to world ranked international competitors.
